Marcia's main goal is to educate her buyers and sellers so they are 100% confident with the decisions they make whether buying or selling. The information available on-line to both buyers and sellers is vast. Marcia can take the information a client has gathered and add specific details that aren't available to consumers, so a full picture is drawn. For Sellers it may be as simple as explaining what the differences are between their house and one that the internet says is similar, or explaining why there are sizable differences in prices for similar homes in the same neighborhood.  Across the country many communities use square footage to determine price, not so much in the Chicago market and that has to be explained to both buyers and sellers.  With rising prices appraisals are having difficulty verifying some selling prices. Marcia always meets the appraiser - ready to answer questions and with her own detailed analysis of the home to confirm the selling price.  In today's market a properly priced house sells quickly and Marcia prepares her buyers before they start looking so they can react quickly when they find the home of their dreams. Marcia goes into great detail when designing a specific website for a listing which will draw a buyer to the property - she has been successful in selling homes when the buyer has only viewed the website.  Every  contract negotiation brings its own unique challenges and Marcia is ready to deal with all. PERSONAL BACKGROUND:

Marcia has been a resident of Lake Forest since 1981 raising three children in the private and public school systems. Prior to becoming a broker she was a vice-president with an insurance agency handling Risk Management for international companies for 14 years. She has a love of architecture and brings enthusiasm every day to both her buyers and sellers. Her many repeat clients can attest to her integrity, knowledge and complete dedication to their goals of selling or buying a home. With 30 years of experience selling homes in the Lake Forest vicinity, she is now spending more time on Gasparilla Island and the Englewood, Florida area. She is licensed in Florida where she is selling luxury residences but she continues to serve her Illinois clientele with a strong local team.
