Biography
Ian grew up in Evanston and currently resides in Lincoln Park with his wife Susan, their fifteen-year-old daughter Emily, their twelve-year-old daughter Sydney, and their nine-year-old son Justin.
After graduating from Evanston Township High School, Ian attended Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, where he was a timpanist and percussionist with the Oberlin Symphonic Band and a member of the varsity tennis team. He then attended Northwestern University and graduated with Distinction and Honors in Psychology. After graduation, he was employed as a Senior Analyst at ZS Associates, a marketing consulting firm in Evanston. He then attended the Northwestern University School of Law, where he was active in the legal clinic and was a Note and Comment Editor of the Northwestern Journal of International Law & Business.
After graduating from law school, Ian clerked for a Federal District Court judge in Denver, Colorado, and then practiced law in Chicago for over five years, first at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal and later at Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney, Ltd.
Ian's legal, marketing, and consulting background, combined with his outgoing personality, his good sense of humor, and his integrity, professionalism, and dedication, has led to his success as a Licensed Broker Associate. He prides himself in his ability to listen to and analyze the needs of both buyers and sellers, and enjoys giving them conscientious service and winning their trust, loyalty, and friendship.
