PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Deborah is known for finding undiscovered opportunities in the marketplace and capturing them in a timely manner. She was one of the pioneers to open an art gallery on the now famous Canyon Road in Santa Fe. Once ensuring its stability, she sold the business and moved home to Chicago to take a position as Account Executive at the advertising agency, Marsteller, Inc. This position paved Deborah's way to founding Ritchey Associates, Inc., an integrated marketing agency. As President, her role included business development, overall company management, and active participation in planning and implementing each client's strategic marketing plan. She has worked with clients ranging from startup companies to Fortune 500 giants such as BMW, Citibank, Four Seasons, McDonald’s Motorola, Urban Oasis, and more.

In 1995, Deborah entered the internet space in a partnership to form, Starting Point, a web portal and directory. At that time, Starting Point was second only to Yahoo! As Managing Partner and Chief Marketing Officer, she defined the company strategy, created and implemented the marketing plan, and garnered significant revenue opportunities for the company. Starting Point was one of the few profitable internet companies. Later, Ms. Ritchey sold her interest to YesMail.com as part of a roll-up strategy to go public. The company was then sold to CMGI.
