Personal Background

Karen began her career in real estate with a small boutique Chicago office in the mid 1990s. Upon moving to the North Shore, Karen chose to work with Coldwell Banker, the only global real estate brand on the North Shore. She started in the Winnetka South office, and within a year, Karen was an award-winning agent. After four years as an agent with Coldwell Banker, Karen moved into management, becoming the managing broker of the Wilmette office. Three years later, Karen was honored to become the managing broker of the award-winning Winnetka North office as well.

Karen manages approximately 100 real estate agents with total annual office volume of over $335.5 million. The Winnetka North office is the most consistent #1 office in volume on the North Shore since 1994 and recognized nationally in the last ten years as one of the top five Coldwell Banker offices in the U.S.

Karen has served on numerous boards in the community of Glencoe where she lives with her husband and daughter, and their cockapoo, Rosie. In addition, Karen has served on several committees and boards within real estate, including being on the Board of Directors of NSBAR, the local real estate association.
