Cathy "CC" Cascia
Cathy Cascia, or ‘CC’ as she is known in the business, is a top Coldwell Banker Realtor servicing Glenview, Northbrook, Northfield,Wilmette, Winnetka, Kenilworth, Lake Forest and Evanston. She is also well suited and experienced helping buyers and renters with their real estate needs within the city of Chicago. CC split her childhood years between Chicago and Glenview, lived in the City’s Lincoln Park/DePaul area post-college, and in Glenview’s Swainwood Neighborhood since 1992 making her a North Shore and City expert. She maintains her competitive edge in knowing about the latest and greatest properties coming onto the market in all areas by utilizing technology, media, and agent resources.
CC energetically travels from the City to the ‘Burbs to service her clients, whether you’re selling, buying or renting. If you’re a Seller, CC will thoroughly educate you regarding the latest state of real estate, as well as how to market and price your home for the highest price and quickest sale. If you’re a Buyer, CC will also pay a short visit (no need to clean or straighten!) to your current residence to speed up her learning curve in terms of understanding your lifestyle, taste and storage needs. As a result of her personal real estate selling and buying experiences, CC has developed an effective, successful two-prong “personal touch” approach to her business. CC works directly with her clients from initial contact to closing…She’s the one you’ve hired, so she’s the one you’ll be working with during the entire transaction process. She also ensures timely follow-up and response, as well as keeping her clients aware of relevant statistics and feedback weekly regarding their properties, as well as the overall real estate market. And most importantly, she works hard and enthusiastically to ensure an efficient, successful and enjoyable real estate buying and/or selling experience. Friends and clients consider CC more creative than the average person. She often surprises clients and other agents with her creative negotiating/deal-making ability. She will always go the extra mile...150% +...to hold a deal together. She is both tenacious and aggressive in a positive, productive manner.
USP: Unique Selling Proposition
Marketing a property is much more than putting up a sign and de-cluttering. And marketing is more important than ever in challenging times as we are currently experiencing. CC’s USP, or point of difference, is that she has strong marketing skills that were developed when she worked in Account Management at J. Walter Thompson on major brands, such as Kraft, Quaker Oats & Oscar Mayer. Each property is treated as a separate brand and given its own unique brand personality and tailored marketing plan. CC is also very careful in taking on a limited amount of listings and buyers so that each receives her full attention…boutique vs. factory. In addition, CC is very careful to ensure there is no conflict of interest among her clients so she can truly accomplish her fiduciary duty to each client.
If there is such a thing as re-incarnation, CC will surely come back as a dog. CC is a very passionate animal and nature lover and member of PAWS. When she takes a break from her real estate business, you will most likely seeing her walking at least one dog, her “cute” Golden Retriever, ‘Wrigley,’ and possibly one or two other canine buddies. Other interests include travel anywhere (CC works to go on vacation), attending art gallery shows (her husband is an accomplished painter), pumping iron at the gym (a recent interest), long bike rides with her kids, and hanging out at the beach with a good book (or magazines).
