A real estate professional for over eight years, Guy’s knowledge of the industry and extensive experience is what helps him service his clients like no other agent in the city. A unique ability to discover and meet the needs of his clients, superb negotiating skills, a stellar reputation among his peers and good old-fashioned hard work are what make Guy LeMénec stand apart from the crowd.   One of his favorite activities has always been helping people buy their first home. It can be such an exciting time for his clients, and he takes pride in making everything as easy as possible for them. Guy’s best advertising is the continued referrals of past clients. All of his business comes from repeat business or referrals from those that have hired him in the past.

Economic Expertise

Guy started his career with a focus in economics. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Rennes in France and holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Berlin in Germany.  After working in logistics a couple of years for the French and German governments he moved to the United States.  He was passionate about starting his own business and opened three successful restaurants in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After 15 years, he sold his business and moved to Chicago looking for something new. He started as a restaurant consultant to many local businesses. It wasn’t long before he found a passion for real estate and pursued a full-time career as an agent.

Industry Recognition

His decision to pursue a career in real estate proved to be a good one! Guy has found great success as a Realtor and has received numerous awards and recognition for sales production over the years. In addition, he is consistently within the top 3% of all Chicago real estate agents in sales volume and closed transactions.  A resident of Chicago for over 12 years, Guy is a great community resource. Currently living in Lincoln Park, he works all over Chicagoland, but focuses most of his business in his own neighborhood, as well as the South Loop, West Loop, Gold Coast, Old Town, Streeterville, Lakeview, Uptown, Edgewater, Rogers Park, Arcadia Terrace, Logan Square, Lincoln Square, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village, Ravenswood, Avondale, Evanston, Lincolnwood, Wilmette and Winnetka.

Community Involvement

When Guy is not focused on real estate, he volunteers for Meals on Wheels and Chefs on Stage, both affiliated with the Community Food Bank. He is also an active member of Lincoln Park Neighbor’s Association, the Group Professional Français of Chicago and is a Board Member of the Lincoln Park Commons Association.
