Tom's approach to helping you find the right property for you is colloborative. He listens to your needs, wants, and priority list and sends you the potential listings to look through on your time schedule. He then suggests that you drive through some of the neighborhoods and get a feel for whether or not the area is right for you so that you are not frustrated by viewing properties that you may or may not even want to consider if the area or positioning on the street is not what fits your lifestyle. Once you have those ideal spots picked out he will then help you through process of elimination find the ideal property and advise you on the fair market value. You will never feel pushed or pressured, Tom is here to advise you with his market knowledge and guide you in the process of finding the perfect new home, but he would never want a buyer client to feel buyer's remorse and therefore he lets you be in the driver seat of deciding if it is the right home for you.
Personal Background and Community Involvement
Tom enjoyed raising two beautiful daughters in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. He was very involved with his kid's schools, always the room parent, organizing field trips, and being the 'soccer dad.' Even now that his daughters are grown he stays involved by helping out with his youngest daughter's sorority and babysitting his oldest daughter's young children. Tom enjoys spending holidays with and taking trips with his family (the most recent of which was a trip to Ireland which he recommends to everyone!) He also loves his 3 dogs, all tibetan terriers, and working on his water gardens and landscaping. In additon, Tom is actively involved in the community, having been a former elected official for the city of Des Plaines he is up to date on all new projects and community events. He also volunteers raising funds for the Special Olympics.
