Business Philosophy

Lindsey's goal is to serve her clients in a way that makes the process of buying or selling a home as stress free as possible.  Her method is to speak to clients in such a way that each step of the process makes sense and all factors related to each step are spelled out in lamens terms.  Through this method her clients can feel comfortable that they are on the right path.  Lindsey's team of experts (if a client chooses to use them) in legal services, lending, home inspection, and staging follow the same principles.   

Within 2 years, Lindsey has risen to become a top agent in La Grange.  Her attention to great personal service, her honesty, energy and knowledge of the market, all play in to her great success.  

Areas of Expertise

Lindsey's focus in real estate is on the south west suburbs surrounding La Grange, Illinois.  

Her background is in marketing, so she looks closely at whether a property is the perfect place for empty nesters, great for the first time buyer coming from the city, the perfect "we could live here forever" home, or maybe one that would appeal to an investor - a different marketing plan needs to be in place for each.  

Communication is key in this business, and Lindsey recognizes that the more she communicates with buyers and sellers, the more they feel secure that transactions are moving in the right direction. 

Personal Background

Growing up in Western Springs, and eventually settling down with her family in La Grange has made her a no-brainer when it comes to someone who knows the area.  Lindsey attended Lyons Township High School, and as many LT'ers know, a huge percentage of them end up settling down with their own families right back where they started.  This gives Lindsey a strong base of connections in the area.  

Lindsey was married to Dave Paulus in 2001 and they now have 3 sons.  She and her family love going to the city on the weekends and hitting the museums - the Field Museum is a family fave.  Her parents, Nick and Carolyn, live in La Grange as well, and are very active in the community, socially and in their grandchildren's lives - which is a pleasure for everyone!

Lindsey's younger brother, Alex, is also in the area and owns and runs the local cab company, Fifth Avenue Cab.  Her older brother, Carter, resides in Boulder, CO and is a professor at the University, along with being a nationally known composer of classical music.

Community Involvement

Lindsey was a celebrity bartender at the Community Nurse Rocktoberfest this year, collecting the second most tips and raising over $2,000 for the cause.

Lindsey is very active in the PTO at her children's school.  She chaired the Art Awareness program and assists in the annual fundraising event, participating as this year's sponsor along with her brother's cab company, 5th Avenue Cab.
