Marty Winefield is an experienced agent who believes that communication is the back bone of his business. With his expertise, he feels it is his job to import the information to his clients. Those means are very fluid… sometimes it might be a call, sometimes a hand written note, or sometimes an update to a social media site. Whatever the case may be, he is always looking for new ways to improve this approach and his communication with his clients. After studying Public Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Marty worked on political campaigns, and as a Manager of Pete Millers Steakhouse in Evanston. Being that he was open to a change in his career, was a native of Chicago, and had a positive feeling toward the real estate industry, he became a full time agent in 1998. Shortly after joining the real estate industry, he learned that his mildly aggressive, but equally thoughtful personality was the perfect match being a strident advocate for his clients. Through his natural connection to helping people during the real estate process, he has built a strong foundation and has created a depth of transaction history. He has guided clients through many different types of transactions, including: - Representing sellers of condo, townhomes, single family homes, or multi-unit buildings- Representing buyer in similar transactions- Representing builders in new construction marketing or land acquisition Marty has participated in 100’s of transactions and is wholly prepared to share this experience with his clients. He has also owned investment properties, condos, and single family homes, and knows the intricacies of them all. At the moment, he is really enjoying the technological shift in the industry and watching his business become more dynamic because of it. . While he works with all client types, he focuses on West Loop, Bucktown/Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, Lakeview and Ukrainian Village. In addition, he also does work in Evanston and the North Shore.
